HI guys..,
im doing project patient monitoring system,( i designed multiple parameter system -4 parameters ) i completed analog front end sensor circuits , The problem is which processor should i choose for better performance,? i am planning to do it in 32bit architecture.
Plz help me to choose Processor for my project .

We develop such project in which we consider following point
1. final list of parameter u sense & upto which accuracy level.
2. Power supply : Mains / Battery Operated
3. Parameter Sensor & it's Operating range, type of output
4. Display or logging of parameter is required , Special requirement such as storage etc.
5. Which development tools available with u & have hands on it.
6. After above point u decide which controller to be used.

Look at Cypress semiconductors PSoC controllers. It has some useful features. You can configure any pin to any port or any function just like a FPGA. example you can configure any pin to a analog pin, UART pin, I2C pin, USB, etc...., It has build in & configurable ADC/DAC. You don't need external OPAMP because it has buid in digital gain controled opamp.

What parameters exactly you plan to monitor?

What speed and resolution of ADC you need, maybe external ADC IC ?

Tell us some details about project.

Best regards,
Peter

LPC2368 Micro controller is ARM7 family it is suitable for your project

Kindly read that controller datasheet. Its have many features

Tank you for Quick replay...

I'm New to the ARM processor , I had done some projects in PIC Micro controller,.. So which one is better ARM or PIC?
i am planning to design more accurate monitoring system(like the one seen in hospitals ).. Can you suggest good ARM tutorial sites for beginners?
