parking system using pic 18f4520

This project calculates the time of entering the car to the parking and the time to go out and calculates the cost.
When a car enter the park , the IR beam between the transmitter and receiver will be disconnected. The disconnection will trigger the interrupt which will save the arrival time from RTC to the EEPROM ,
The same configuration is set at the exit .. but this time we get the time of departure and save it to the EEPROM … the we subtract the two values and Multiplication to Tariff rate and calculate the cost and show the time and the value of cost on the screen

i don't know how write the code to program the pic and simulation please help me>>>

first of all you should have knowledge of how to interface lcd, rtc to pic. rtc communicate via i2c protocol. lcd has special commands to interface.
Programming is done on Mplab ide or any other compiler.
Have u done some work on pic before?
initially try simple interfacing of lcd, rtc etc. on pic simulator or proteus.
