Hi, I need a high current driver IC, for MOSFET/IGBT. Is it possible to use several drivers, incorporated in a single IC chip, connected in parallel. For example Microchip's TC4468 (4x1,2A). It is supposed that delay times are matched, but some differences may exist anyway. Is it a good idea or not? Thanks
The usual solution is a chip driver with a complementary BJT common-collector buffer. There are small (SOT-23) transistors, that can drive up to 10 A (e.g. form Zetex or NXP).
