My 5 cd changer wont work

last night i put a cd in one of the trays it must have done something wrong as all trays now wont open

and cd player does not work

any one know how to get the cd tray to open manually so i can remove all cds

what could be thge problem

Probably going to get a new system

Id still like to repair this one if possible

Id even be happy if I could just get the cd trays to open so I can remove the cds

Then Id just like to make it so only one cd slot works

Any advice

I do not know level of your skills in electronics. Maybe it is better to address to nearest repair shop. If your skills are big enough, then you can open it, look on board, and suppose destination of parts. Maybe there is some breaked capacitor or power regulator. First, examine power supplies. Next look on connectors.

If you need to get your CD-R from drive, then look at mechanism. Most parts of this mechanism are plastic. So, you can examine plastic gears to find breaked one or maybe find some garbage that sticks between gears. If they are ok, then rotate them to open tray.
