Hi All,

I am new to PADS Layout and PCB design. I am working my way through this PADS Layout tutorial on creating new parts (search Google for "Creating a new Part Type using the PCB & CAE Decal Wizards" to find the tutorial I am talking about - I can't post a link because I am new to this forum).

I am having trouble adding a new library. I created a new library and added it using the Manage Lib List as suggested in step 1.4 of the tutorial. But when I opened the Library drop down list, the library that I just added didn't show up.

Also, in step 2.6, when I tried to save the decal into the library, my new library didn't show up on the Library drop down list.

Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance.

I just realized that I posted this in the wrong section, I really wanted to post it in
Forum->Hardware & PCB Design->PCB Routing & Schematic Layout software & Simulation
Anybody know how I can delete it from here?
