i want to interface p10 single colour led module 16x32 with pic micro. any sample code kindly help

i cannot get the schematic for p10 if any one have kindly send.

how much io will p10 led module need with pic

Thank you. If i am using 4 modules then also the io will be 6?

Hi,

Without knowing anything about your module...I assume you need individual OE for each module.
OE, or better say CS will be low-active.

A 74HC138 (or similar) may reduce microcontroller pins and additionally avoid that accidentally two or more modules can be selected at the same time.

no need more io for 4 module OE,STB,CLK,A,B are parallel and data is in cascade mode
P10 module is 1/4 scanning (4 ROW SCAN ONE TIME)
PIN A B
0 0 ROW 1,5,9,13
1 0 ROW 2,6,10,14
0 1 ROW 3,7,11,15
1 1 ROW 4,8,12,16
