Overlap error in eagle cad

I am getting this overlap error in eagle cad
however it is the same wire it is overlapping with
Do i need to make amends for removing this error or this is allowable? overlap error.jpg
 

Looks like the via overlaps a SMD pad which would be prohibited by usual design rules.

Like will this design cause any errors?
Cause the via is for the same wire.
 

It's probably O.K. for a hand soldered prototypes, but not for production.

If you like having holes in your pads, then don't change anything. But you have multiple posts with the same problem. You've got some serious misalignment issue and you need to fix it.
 

No no..
There's only one overlap error.
All others are dimension and drill size.
This takes me to another of my doubts..

I am working in micro amperes and the pad size for the IC I am using is 8mil

But the default minimum width in eagle is 10mil

So I should just change the required minimum to 8mil right?

And so goes for the dimension of drills.
The default was 24mil
But I have used 19.45 at many places to resolve clearance errors

This won't cause any problem.. Right?
Or it is necessary for those widths to be minimum that much??
 

If FVM is correct and that is a via then I'd ask myself:

Q - What is a via?
A - A plated hole that goes through to the other side of the board.

Q - what happens when a via get solder on it
A - The solder gets sucked to the other side of the board, down the hole & away from the area it should be covering.

Q - Is it good to have solder removed from my SMT component pad, reducing the amount of solder to make a good & secure solder joint?
A - No, it's not.

Q -what should be done about it for this board?
A - MOVE IT! - Fix the error.

Q - What about using 19.45 Mil holes, is this OK?
A - Ask your manufacturer if they use 19.45 Mil drill bits? They will likely say NO - we use only MM drill bits now and in 0.05mm increments so a 0.5mm drill bit will be used for the 19.45Mil holes.
How does that affect your design errors? Why not fix the clearance errors rather than fudge the drill sizes?

8 Mil tracks, gaps and clearance is fine and should not cause any problems, neither should 7 mil.
Less than 0.5mm drill sizes and the manufacturer may start charging more per drill because they can stack less for thinner drill bits, different manufacturers have different charge points.
