Hi I am using a Hameg HMO3522 Oscilloscope. I wanted it to display a 350Mhz RF which I was giving through my Rhodes and Schwarz signal generator but the scope is showing extreme variations in frequency from 9kHz to several Mhz, even the voltage is not being displayed correctly although I performed the probe adjustments etc.
The problem could be aliasing, if you CRO can not get samples of the input waveform fast enough. One thing you could try is to switch the CRO to "envelope" - if this mode exists, it should then display a bright filled in rectangle, from which you can measure the p-p voltage of the waveform, if this is varying you have a loose lead?

The Hameg HMO3522 is a 350MHz oscillator. By using a 350MHz signal, you're using it at the very limit of its specifications.
Use a 200MHz-300MHz signal and see if that is displayed properly.
