Hi,
I have a peculiar problem related to generation of GDSII in balst fusion.After completing a block we exported the GDSII for the same.When we import back the same GDSII into the tool we find that there are many nets which are named as orphans.Why is this happening.Have any one come across similiar problems?
What am i doing wrong here?
Regards
Vicky

check the gds mapping file, you missed/mixed the text layer. and BF is not perfect handle GDS, sometimes you have to do P&R with LEF instead.

Hi,

just do the following steps
dump out the layer mapping info.

export the lef and gdsii.

while importing

import lib for the design
set to some variable.

source the design layer rules
source the design rules.
impot lef
import gdsii

I think this should work out
