In Orcad 9.1, there are Via and Free Via. What's the difference between both of them? Thanks.

I don't know ORCAD well, but in PCAD vias are vias with a associate net, and free vias when you put it on your PCB manually, without route, just click on via symbol, and put it on design board.

Its easy.
A free via is a via that is defined and controlled by the user. The system does not automatically insert or delete free vias.
