hi,,

can any body tell me ,,,,? we ve a dc drive which is speeded by an optical endoer on it mounted ,now there is a problem that encoder is pulsating the drive with an error LED(Red) blinking on it, as it must be off and only green LED should be on just.

plz tell me any suitable answer for our problem

Hi,

First what type of encoder used there whether it is a anlog or digital . If it is an anlog type check the input voltage of that. (take the data sheet from internet). If the input is not present check the previous stage.

Suppose if it is a digital type check the out put using CRO and it is not correct check the input of the encoder.

Suppose for both the cases input is ok, then change the encoder IC.
