OP amp scaling voltage

Hey all,

I have been trying to create a circuit to scale a 0 - 3.3v sensor to a 0 -5v signal. Any suggestions on how to do this. I have been trying some Op amp circuits but haven't really gotten anywhere yet.

I have tried this circuit with little success. I get the voltage from the divider on the output.

 

Yes I understand that i need and Op amp circuit with a specific gain. I have done this successfully in simulation using an "ideal" op amp (the one you have shown in the circuit) now i have to achieve this with a real Op amp
 

Yes, Crutschow is right, I didnt pay attention, you need 0-3,3V to 0-5V and non-inverting opamp circuit. I thought it was 0-5V to 0-3,3V.

Well originally you said you hadn't gotten anywhere with op amp circuits. :-?

It shouldn't be too difficult if you use a low input offset op amp and the highest signal frequency is well below the Gain-Bandwidth of the op amp. If you have a single 5V supply then the op amp will also need to be an input/output rail-rail type.
