hi everybody

I have to realize a circuit to supply a coil with current up to 8 A , i have (in the picture ) two voltage sources , one from the left wich i can command , and the other on the right 12 V .

What i am wondering is , do i need a second source to produce 12 v , or there is a solution so i can have just one source , the commande to supply the coil .
thank you

You can use the same source of power. In case that you want to use different power sources, ground should be common according to this circuit design.

Best regards,
Peter

THANK YOU PETER for your answer

however , my prob is , how can i use the same source while the one in the left is commanded , changes between 0 and 5 V . what do you think ? and of course the ground should be comman .
