Device allows direct printing text entered by keyboard connected to it to PS2 connector.
Device is based on ATmega1280 microcontroller. If we exclude Print Text function then controlling program will easily fit the at90s2313 microcontroller.
User can choose text attributes such as bold, italic and underline. Any combination of these attributes is allowed. Polish diacritical characters are supported in the following manner: press and release Alt key, press character.
Device was tested on Optimus SA 2400 printer. Any printer with a ESC/P EPSON standard can be used. In thje case of ESC/P IBM standard a minor changes in program are needed.

Source code of additional program tool is included. This tool allows sending any commands through LPT port. This enables testing of other functions without the microcontroller reprogramming.
