Hi!
Suppose I Have a single ended Linear mimic amplifier with 20dB of gain and 38 dBm of OIP3. Now I want to do a Push-pull using Two of them with RF Transformers.
How much is the Final OIP3 of the Push-pull Configuration?
Is there a closed formula to get this value?
Thanks
Andrea

Theoretically, the OIP3 of the push-pull amplifier is 3dB higher than a similar single-ended amplifier.
In reality is a bit less than 3dB.
However, the OIP2 could be more than 20dB higher in push-pull than in single-ended case.
