Off-the-shelf tube needed for dummy load bank

Hello,
The three pdfs attached depict the “chimney tube” resistive load bank, which here is for 48V,6.5A (312W)
It is an el-cheapo load bank, easy and quick to make.
We just need to find the tube itself……we’d like it to be metal, but will settle for plastic.
Do you know of any off-the-shelf tubing like this? (we can cut the air intakes out ourselves).
It can be round or square cross section..or “any-side-oganol” for that matter...approx at least 16 cm long….approx 6cm radius.
..or any length (we can cut it to size)

what is the purpose of the copper clad boards thickly coated with solder?

Reduced conduction losses doesn't need to be a priority in a load bank.

thanks, yes, but we wish the resistance to be as set by the resistors, not the resistors plus the conduction loss in the bus bars...although in this case, yes, i see, its only 6A...so we wont get much loss anyway in the bare copper clad board...i see your point....we'll scrub the solder dousing...thanks for this.

perhaps an easier way is to glue some power resistors on a large 1mm Al sheet, wire them up as required, and put a fan or fans on the sheet, the Al can even be drilled to hold switches for varying the load ...

Thanks, thats a better way you kindly suggest....probably not as quick and cheap as our way...and quick and cheap is what we need at the moment. We're not even sure if there is money in the bank, so to speak.
