hi friends,
i have dell xps m1530.
it can not power on,i changed its ac adapter when i conect to laptop to power adapter,the LED of pawer adapter turn off,when disconect LED turn on,
any one can give idea.

it power on with battery ? if yes then change adaptor and check. if you have change adaptor then check polarity of adaptor pin. still same then may be short circuit in laptop pcb. you can check it with multimete, with diod range . check charger socket terminal at laptop pcb with meter probe. if it saw reading 00 then there is short circuit. same way check at battery connector.

hi,
no power with battery too,i have chacked charger socket it is ok,the power socket is in small pcb,t disconect the power socket pcb from mother board and then conect to charger,then the LED of charger going on again conect to mother board tha charger LED turn off.i think there is short circuit in mother board.i chacked it with multimeter but i have no idea where and which section to check.
 

check charging section first. if i get schematic then i sugess you what parts to check.

from where i can get schematic and where is charging circuit on mother board,i have no idea actually i m a electro medical technician.this is the problem with my own laptop and i want to solve it my self.
please help me.
