Ultrasonic distance sensor module HC-SR04 Measuring Transducer Sensor
What's the uses?
Hi, I'm really uber noob, and I wish to know what's the uses of the above and examples of applications?

It seems to work like SONAR. From one sensor the ultrasound waves are passed through medium and from other these waves are received. The time of flight of these waves with velocity of ultrasound in medium, u can calculate the distance i.e. velocity=distance/time.
Then u repeat the same procedure by interchanging roles of transmitter and receiver. Average two values to find the distance. if the medium or ultrasound transceivers are moving u have to include Doppler effect to find distance as the relative velocity is different from actual velocity due to either moving observer or the source.
