Hi - this is my first post on here. Hope you guys are noob friendly!

I want to design and have built a RAM expansion board for the ancient Amiga 1200 home computer.

I want it to be as basic as possible - no RTC support, no FPU, no choice of SIMM size etc.

I simply want the DRAM chips mounted straight onto the board. Probably 4 x 1Mb x 16 fast page DRAM to give 8MB in total.

I never designed a board before, although I do have an electronics background.

I would greatly appreciate any help whatsoever in any aspect of this project.

Thanks in advance.
