load line at ads

i make a design , of nonlinear transistor, igot the i-v curve. how can i plot the load line on this graph ??

Re: load line at ads

Use "Amplifier design Guide" in Design Guide menu. There are many tools in it.

Re: load line at ads

fisrt do DC curave tracing. to plot Id and Vd curve and save the data into say dcTracingDataset. Then use that transistor in HB simulation with a proper bias (u will see the bias point when u plot the load line) put a current probe and a node voltage in this curcuit (for Id and Vd) then plot Id and Vd over the old Id and Vd from dcTracingDataset.

Re: load line at ads

yes, u can use the wizard options of ADS or refered the ADS manual
there are many guides in it !!

Re: load line at ads

There's an example in RFboard that shows characterisation for PA, it comes with the relevent loadline curves...

Re: load line at ads

hallo

to my knowledge there r 2 kinds of loadlines dc load line and dynamic load line
for the dc load line go to amplifier design guid and use the very first schematic i think it is called DC , GM and power (some thing like this)

thanx
