Hello,

if the system is nonlinear and time invariant, what analysis should we run for noise, gain and s-parameters?

Hi. Thanks for replying. I always thought that PSS would be used when we have a switching circuit.(like a Gilbert cell mixer). I have an envelope detector with a low pass filter at the output(signal is ASK modulated). This converts frequency from RF to BB but there is no LO component involved like in a Gilbert cell.
So, if I do PSS analysis then what should be my input tone?

As master analysis, invoke one-tone PSS Analysis with sweeping input level.
Then invoke AC, SP, Noise Analysis at each input level.

Or use input signal of periodic ASK signal.
If you use Shooting-Newton-PSS, you have to use relative short period as periodic ASK signal.
If not, fundamental frequency for Shooting-Newton-PSS will be very small.
