Hi all,
Please, I am beginner in Cadence Virtousu,
Could you please tell me how can I get non polarize capacitor?
Also, is there any examples of electronic circuits in cadence virtuoso same as in ADS simulator?

Thanks.

Ceramic caps below 1uF are non-polarized.

Or maybe you need high uF. Electrolytic caps are inexpensive, but they're polarized. (Non-polarized electrolytic are higher-priced and bulky.) A handy trick is to put two polarized electrolytic caps back-to-back. Test both orientations on the chance they might adopt their preferred voltage polarity.

Don't know about Cadence or ADS.

Cadence Virtuoso is an IC design tool, library symbols are oriented to IC design. As far as I know, it uses the same capacitor symbol for polarized (e.g. junction) and non-polarized (e.g. SiO2) capacitors. The symbol itself tells nothing about the capacitor type, it's all in the attributes.

I you want to use Virtuoso for general analog circuit simulation, what's your problem with the standard capacitor module?

I doubt that Virtuoso is your first choice for general analog simulation, you also don't use a truck for vacation travel.
