hi
m having a circuit which has sensor that gives output from 0-1.5 v ,i will be converting 0-1.5 v to 0-5 v using opamp which i will further give to adc and then to uc but the output isnt linear for a change of value=1 of physical property ..there is a voltage change of 1mV .but after reaching a level of 0.5 v the scale changes to 2:1 i.e, for a change of value=2 of physical property ..there is a voltage change of 1mV.what should i do?

with best regards

You have 2 option:

1. (the simplest one) is to convert analog 0-1.5 to 0-5V using a simple OP and in digital side you have to make the software corrections (multiplying by your interval factor) but you will lose resolution...
2. in analog side do a segment linearization (this technique use multiple amplifier factor based on measurement votage window) practic you need to detect voltage window and apply a coresponding multiplication factor...
