Noise Factor(NF) vs Output Noise

Is NF is the output noise of our design?? How can we have an analysis on NF by generating a NF waveform?

Hi

The noise figure and the output noise are different.
The noise figure is the log form of the noise factor (linear).
The noise factor is: (input signal/input noise)/(output signal/output noise).
If you want the noise figure you have to apply the formula:

NF = -G(dB) + Noise output (dBm/Hz) - Noise input (dBm/Hz)

This is the definition of NF. There are others method to obtain it.
