Hi,

I know it is a trivial question, but I have no other choice. In cadence, can I use nmos1v and pmos1v with Vdd=3.5 volt? I know there are nmos3v and pmos3v that should be used with that supply value, but there is a problem with their model library and I can't fix it. I am currently using 130nm technology.

Thanks,

I am guessing that you want to use the 1V devices for a 3V design as you are not able to use the 3V devices.

The models for the 1V devices are very different from the 3V ones. A lot of parameters would be different such as µn, Cox, Vth, etc.

You would not be able to port your design using the 1V devices to the 3V devices, it would in most likelihood not work:sad:. It would require a lot a redesign and rework.
