Clock with nixie LC-531 indicators, steering by immortal Atmeg8 and RTC PCF8583. Lamp's anodes are steering by transoptors ( I took them from computer's amp) cathodes are steering by 74141.Conventer that gives power to lamps is a project from here http://bruno.netstrefa.com.pl/radio/projekt/nixiepower/

Boards I made by felt-tip, steering board I designed in eagle, it's not perfect but I'm at student level on this useful program. Board for lamps is hand made because I couldn't find library for lc-531. Next boards will be made by thermotransfer, It's a easy method that can give great effects.
Casing is made with 3 kinds of wood. Upper lid with birch, oval part is a oak glue with acacia. Bottom part of casing is a metal sheet.
I painted all construction by spray varnish. I know it' not perfect paint. I wanted to get something similar to http://www.tube-tester.com/sites/nixie/nixie-clocks/V400/V400_nixie-clock2.htm Here upper lid is a glass thanks to that light very nice reflect. At mine project is not so nice, but you can steel see the hour at reflect.
Clock is powered by power supply adapter 9V 500mA. All construction need less than 300mA.
After download sterownik nixie.rar you will get diagram. "Anti - ghost" that you can find at diagram is not necessary. Download file and original text you can find at
