I have the following circuit board pulled out of my Nissan radio.

I would like to eliminate the AM tuner and use an aux input instead. Another user has done this mod to his board, but his pictures are no longer active (Add AUX input to Navara). Can anyone help me identify where the AM signals travel on this board?

The module 801921c1 is the complete "radio". On the underneath its outputs are labelled. I can see "out L &R " which will be the FM audio output. I guess there will be a AM/FM input that switches the radio, can you see some thing like this in the labelling? I don't know exactly what you want to do or how much knowledge and experiance you have with electronics, but I would break the two lines running to the out L &R pins and re-connect them via a set of relay contacts. A pair of coax cable connecting to the other contacts, so that when the relay is energised the cables replace the signal from the FM tuner. Then energise the relay fro the AM/FM signal via a transistor buffer.
