Bedroom power amp
Project made by elements that I had at my lab. I always like to make amplifiers so I had a lots of elements. Power amp that I made played for some time at my system and it works very well. Still I need to finish preamplifier, that would suite into "silver box".
Power amplifier made with good quality parts like: Ending is LM3875 in isolating version. Surround elements are precisions resistors Elpod, steam based on MUR860 diodes, filtering condensers BC components ( old Philips). Power amp shoulden't have to give great power, filtering capacity 2000uF is enough. As I had two toroid transformers, system is "dual mono". Transformers has cooper shield between windings. Slots are also high quality. Boards are close that make a short signal way. Construction is very simple, although i wanted made some nice casing. .
Casing is from internet, firstly inside were outside stubs of some loudspeakers. I will change legs, cause paint on them is old. Casings are aluminium, back wall is a radiator. Boards from omnibus order, amplifier doesn't make any noise, at secondary winding has 2x24V. backlight switch is and the bottom of casing.
To finish preamplifier i need only to solder elements.
