Hi,

Is there any command for NFS sharing with windows servers including read/write permission. After mounting the directory how to change the directory permission in linux. Anyone please help on this.

Thanks,
Jay

On linux try "man chmod" and "man chown" that can change your premission user and group, I have not try mounting NFS in windows though !! I use samba for that

Hi!

Some months ago I tried to find an NFS client for Windows XP but couldn't find anything suitable. So I use Samba instead. Are you aware of a good NFS client for Windows?

TIA

Nop, I only use XP <-> Linux with samba and it works fine !
