Yep your's is a clone including the VDD clamp and adjustable VDD generator. I never said it was a bad design, I just said it's only $5 cheaper than a genuine PICkit 2 from Microchip. I personally would not build a clone of a kit if it was only a couple of dollars different in price than the real McCoy.
