usb intel pxa27x

On monday info on the new PXA27x family of XScale processors was released. From what we were told before the release the PXA270 is targeted for the embedded market. The PXA271-273 adds on chip flash and sdram configurations but i believe is targeted towards the cell phone type markets and once the interest drys up so will those parts.

Here is a link to the documentation on the processor.

i don't think these are as widely applicable as the good ol' PXA250/255's. And besides, they have EVIL copyright protection/ DMCA/ DRM built in .... grrrr

Why do you say they are not as widely applicable? The PXA270 is a superset of the PXA255. All the same features plus adding USB Host function plus many other features. Care to share what info you have on the DRM info you have on this chip because i haven't heard anything of the sort.
