Need the characteristics or datasheet of the zener D818e. It simply doesn't exist on the net.

russian zener

This is old Russian zener diode ..

what you can understand as follows:
Zener voltage is 9V (+/-15%) at 10mA ..
Power rating is 300mW at 50°C ..
Dynamic resitance is 100Ω at 3mA current ..

In other words, replace it with any 9.1V zener diode (1N757, BZX79C9V1 or similar) and everything should work fine ..

russian zeners

D818E is a temperature compensation zener, and has no forward conduction (you cannot use diode test range of the DMM to test it), that is the most important.

This is the specs from Russian datasheet for D818E:
- Nominal zener voltage: 9V
- Zener voltage tolerance: +/-15%.
- Zener current: nominal 10mA, min. 3mA, max 33mA.
- Maximum dissipation: 0,3W
- Dynamic resistance: 25 ohm,
- Zener voltage temperature coefficient: +/-0.001%/C.
- Ambient operating temperature: -60...+100C.

If you need the datasheet, I will try to scan it and upload (but for the time being, I do not know how to post it here), or go to www.yandex.ru to find it.

Very thank you for your promt reply. As per your information I'll try to replace D818e with LM431 adjusted to 9V, think it will work.

BTW nguyennam don't need the datasheet info are enought!
