For an 18F with PLL a 10MHz would be better if it's speed you're after. That will run the PIC at 40MHz its maximum speed.

I want three serial port in my system, at different baud rate for this
I am using PIC18f452 with 16c654 (quad uart ic)
i m having problem in initializing 16c654 . (bcz of too many register settings)
can any one help me or share some code to initialize ths ic
