I have 5-element linear array that I need to find the S-Matrix for. I need to set the port impedance on the one port I am measuring to 0 ohms and the other elements need to be terminated by 50 ohms. By default, all ports are terminated by 50 ohms. I can't set the port impedance of the measured element to 0 ohms. How can I do that? Is de-embedding part of the answer?

Thanks.

I think de-embedding is the answer. The question now is how long should the length of the distance be?
In HFSS manual, it states "a positive value de-embeds into the port. A negative value de-embeds out of the port." What is this mean?

I have a coax cable with certain height, h, with a wave port at one end and a probe at the other end. Should I set the length of distance to +h or -h? and Why?
