Need suggestion for ME(digital system) project

PLZ suggest the field for ME project.
Actualy I have two options Embedded System & Image Processing.
But bit confused.

if you go for embedded, its easier but might get costly, i.p on the other hand, will be a havoc, in terms of coding and learning.

i think you should go for a project in embedded system domain
its always fun to implement something on hardware level
costing wise speaking i think it will matter on hardware vendors you approach
there are vendors who supports single or double quantity orders also approach them they will surely suggest you some cost effective solutions
