Hi There,

I'm looking for a good LDO for MLX90316 IC. (Output is the ratiometric )

Please suggest some good ones. Input 6 to 40V Load Current is 30mA max

I have some of the options here
1. LM9036QMX-5.0/NOPB
2. ISL78307FBEBZ-T

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Why don't you do it on your own?
If I was looking for an IC I'd use the online selection tools provided by distributors and manufacturers.
Free, available for every one, up to date, huge database, fastest...

BTW: The benefit of "ratiometric" is that it's easy to cancel out supply fluctuations. No "sophisticated" power supply needed.
Read application notes. Do internet search. Reading ratiometric sensors is nothing new.

Hi Klaus,

I too selected the LDO'S same way. But I like to know anyone using better LDO than my selection. And I feel for ratiometric sensor good Line regulation is need to reduce the output linearity error.

ISL78307FBEBZ-T datasheet telling that the line regulation is 0.115%

LM9036QMX-5.0/NOPB datasheet telling that the line regulation is30mV

thanks

Hi,

"Better" is something subjective, unless you specify "in which regard" better.
We don't know "in which regard", thus we don't know what to look for.
If you know, simply feed the selection tool with this information.

I don't agree that power supply has effect on output linearity of a ratiometric sensor.
Again: please read according application notes.
