Hi I want to design simple power regulated power supply and for that I have used fullwave rectifier circuit with transformer.

for regulated power supply I have tried IC like LM317, LM7824 and other few. but here in this I want more than 3A current from this IC which I am not getting in this.
So, anyone here can suggest me the Voltage regulator IC which give regulated output voltage with more than 3A current which available in market easily.

and also suggest the transformer which suitable in this.

I want 24VDC and 1A current at output of power supply in my circuit but I want more current because I want to join this power supply with more than one same circuits.

Wait. First you say want 3A and then you say you want 1A. Which is it?

You probably need to use a switching regulator to get 3A at 24V; I don't think there's any single-chip linear solution. You could use a linear regulator with an external transistor to boost the current capabilities.

You can use TPS54560. Its a TI IC based on buck boost topology. Its input voltage varies from 4.5 to 60 V. Its easy to operate the device in that supply
