i am now a fresh graduate engineer
but unfortunately i am very bad in mathematics
now i need to read and work to be good in this field
my big problem is in statistics and linear algebra
i found in MIT website some good video tutorials for linear algbera
but statistics is still my biggest problem
i need to work hard with it
i want name of books that is good and simplified that's mean examples, examples with answers
and if there is name of any other books in linear algebra it will be also good
any help???

mr_byte31,
Try:
. "Statistics for Dummies" by Deborah Rumsey
. "Probability and Statistics" by Spiegel, Schiller, Srinivasan.
. This is part of the Schaum's Outline Series.
Despite the rather condescending nature titles of the "For Dummies" books, they are generally quite good as introductory texts.
.
For Matrices, the book that I turn to first is "Elementary Matrix Algebra" by Franz E Hohn. It's available as a Dover books edition.
Regards,
Kral

I would like to add that MATLAB as a software tool could enhance your practical experience with Matrices , algebra & statistics as well.

thanks all
really i am very good in using matlab
i had made the Wimax block diagram on it
