I have designed a Phase shifted full bridge converter with 2.5kW capability. But my converter shows a unexplainable current wavefrom (purple) as follows when my converter operates in Closed loop.
In the attached waveform,
Yellow - transformer's primary voltage waveform
Blue - transformer's secondary voltage waveform
Purple - Output Current waveform
Testing conditions -
input voltage - 200V
Output Connected to a Constant Voltage load at 36V(so voltage clamped at 36V)
Output Current - 10A
I can't understand why my current waveform behaves as such.
I Would be much obliged to listen to your opinions and ideas how to make this proper.Thank you in Advance..
Why a constant voltage load? That means that you have 2 different devices trying to regulate the same voltage.
Your load will cause "strange" changes in the current.
