[SOLVED] need of driver in sg3525

hi to every one , my question is that does there any need of driver for the gate of mosfet when using sg3525 for pwm. i am saying this because i generate pwm and i was driving a 1amp dc motor through mosfet and it was working fine without any driver.,so its realy no need of driver for mosfet . and 2nd part of question is that can i control 20 amps through mosfet by pwm without using any driver . actualy i am trying to make a buck converter.
