Need info about PLC and its architecture

hello fellow members,
this is my second attempt, i want information about some of the ebooks related implementation of PLC using embedded controllers. actually i want to implement PLC as final sem. project using embedded controllers. So i want to get the basic knowledge of PLC and it's architecture.
