I'm having issues with current overshoot on the LM3224 DC Converter.
When configured to run at low current (~50mA), I get extreme current overshoot (very bad).
I'm running it using /SHLD from a PWM output on a PIC.
On the activation through /SHLD, there is a dramatic overshoot.
Over a range of current settings, this peak shoots to 100mA initially.
Here is the circuit

and here is the wave form

I'm switching the signal on /SHLD at around 120hz and I have the compensation cap as high as I reasonable can put it without impacting that. Lowering Cc (5.6nF) makes the overcurrent worse.
please help.
