Need help with 18F4550 oscillator settings

18f4550 oscillator

Trying to understand the oscillator setting in a PIC18F4550.
Is it correct that if I use a 20MHz oscillator, I can make the microcontroller run as if I used a 48MHz oscillator?
I got this from the datasheet on page 32.

Yes, if you use the PLL and set the fuses correctly.
