Hello,

I am trying to design DC/DC converter. Inputs:Vin1: 300V, Vin2:-300V, output1:30V, output2:-30V, current 30A. I was thinking about using a transformer for my isolation and efficiency with mosfet in circuit but I am not for sure how to actually get going. Is there some type of step-by-step design procedure available? Or can someone direct me in the right direction on this design task. I am familiar with engineering but very green in designing. I am a computer engineer convert.

Thank You, are there any sites or books you recommend that shows how to design without using ic's? For instance I want to use scr's, thyristors, bjt, or mosfet.
