hello guys...i'm new here, so i desperately need some help to build a high power inverter but can be build by a not very pro of me..PLEASE.....

Can you provide more details? What’s the range of input voltage and output power needed?

well...actually, i finally got one inverter circuit that i want..but there is some components on the circuit that i don't understand...what type of resistor does it use?? here is some photos...the one on the red circle...and also, give some advice on improving the circuit design... 500W-12-to-220V-inverter 2.jpg

but mister_rf..i think the inverter the one i had is perfect for my scholl project...because that it doesn't use any intergrated circuit..(really weak to anything related to IC..lol...sorry)...so please mister_rf, can you tell me what type of resistor it use???...and also thank you for that link....

I had gone through the post. What’s the range of input voltage and output power and which type of resistors are needed according to this circuit ? Please produce some more attachments about the topic for view detail information.

The circuit is protected by a 10 Amp fuse, so there is no reason to use so many output transistors, 4 (two per side) would handle 40 Amps! The .1 ohm resistors are to balance the currents through the parrallelled output transistors, they are wire wound.

The circuit in post 3 looks like it produces a square wave output. That's OK to power things like heaters and incandescent light bulbs, but a lot of other equipment won't like it.
