Hi,

I need a circuit for a mosfet driver using a signal generator as source pulse, (square wave) the output voltage of the sig gen is variable up to 20 volts I will be experimenting at frequencys between 50hz to 10khz the mosfet will be driving a foil winding ( low resistance) want to have the option of voltages here between 3 to 12 volts so as I can keep the amperage within reason. I have heard that it is possible to use a 555 timer chip as a driver. something simple like this and a couple of transistors would be fine.

thanks Ian
