I have a resistance decade box from IET Labs. They are providing circuits & values of their products. Now i need to construct one for myself. I found one DIY project from internet search... **broken link removed**
This project using decimal thumbwheel switch so the number of resistance required for each decade is 9 in count. But the advantage is all 9 resistance in the decade has the same resistance value.
The IET Labs RS-20x products are using only 5 resistors per decade. I hope they are using BCD thumbwheel switch but still i have doubt in that. unfortunately i have no BCD thumbwheel switch in stoke.
Can anyone verify or confirm the type of the thumbwheel switch? The attached document has the internal PCB layout of the thumbwheel switch.
