Hi Gurus,

I am a beginner in electronic circuit creation. I would like to create a circuit for rotating head lamp of a car. Could you please guide me how can I start and what could be the possible circuit design.
My major requirements include:
1: as soon as first signal is given to the circuit the motor turns specific rotation so that headlamp are open and then motor stops.
2: as soon as second signal is given the motor rotates specific turns in reverse direction so that the headlamp goes back to original position.

This I want to create as a hobby only and need to understand how I can play around with this circuit.

Since I am new to this, I would request if you could guide me with minute details for this circuit, what components to be used and how to build the circuit.

Eagerly waiting for your response.

Regards,
Nishant

what will you use to detect when the motor has to stop in each direction?

A suitable current rated bridge capable of more than the stall current of the motor is needed

What you need is a "servo" system circuit like those used in R controlled models. If you check such circuit, you can use it for your purpose.
To control a servo, one usually needs a "reference" input (voltage)against which another (control voltage) signal is varied to cause the mechanical output to move (shift, rotate). One can use a "joystick" for such control in your case.
Google for RC servos, and their specifications. This is the easy way to go.
