Need C code for serial communication with PIC18F452 using MAX232

Hi,
I need some help on my project. I need to programme the Max232 chip to communicate with my PIC 18F452 (so i can send and receive data from PIC 18F452 to PC and vice versa through the serial Port, DB9) in C language by using CC compiler, Simulink and MPlab but i am novice to C language. I can not figure out how to write the codes in C language for CC compiler to interract with these devices. Please, i seriously need some guidiance and your help.
I shall be very grateful if my request is considered.
