need a method for switch 10kv-2amper

hi
for a project we want to control a 10kv-2a line in net we found some relay and thyristors but they are very expensive and rare.
if you know a simple and cheapness way for this problem please share here.
 

Give more detail about design. It must be switching on HV or can be before inductivity ?

the power rating of such ckt at 10 kV and 2 A is always high and so there is aneed for enhanced stability of the switch which could be compromised at lower prices

thyristors are best suited for high freq and power ratings you may better go with them
also mention whether it is ac or dc as they have different responses if ac then
 

For keying radar magnetrons, high voltage vacuum triodes are used. They are faster than thyratrons and do not self-trigger . Also the pulse shape can be controlled by the control grid, not possible by thyratrons.
